Under the agreement signed on June 8, the two companies will combine their strengths in technology development, capital investment, industrial ecosystem building and cross-border resource integration to support two key initiatives: the development of an embodied AI robotics ecosystem and the establishment of a World Robot Super Accelerator. The collaboration is designed to strengthen innovation links between Shanghai and Hong Kong while helping embodied intelligence technologies transition from research laboratories into large-scale commercial applications.

The partnership seeks to align Black Sesame Technologies' computing capabilities with SIIC Tech Capital's investment network and industrial resources. SIIC Tech Capital plans to leverage its portfolio in intelligent robotics and its international business connections to expand the adoption of Black Sesame Technologies' embodied AI computing platform. In parallel, Black Sesame Technologies will work with upstream and downstream partners to build a more integrated value chain spanning computing infrastructure, software platforms and end-user applications.

A centerpiece of the collaboration is the proposed World Robot Super Accelerator, envisioned as a comprehensive innovation hub for the global embodied AI industry. The platform is expected to integrate research and development, startup incubation, certification services and international market expansion capabilities, creating a support system for technology commercialization and helping Chinese robotics companies access overseas markets.

Drawing on its experience in automotive-grade computing platforms and mass-production vehicle technologies, Black Sesame Technologies has expanded into the embodied intelligence sector with the launch of SesameX, a computing platform developed specifically for commercial robotics deployment. The platform incorporates three core modules—Kalos, Aura and Liora—and is designed to support a wide range of robotic applications, from low-speed wheeled robots and quadrupeds to humanoid robots. The company has already established strategic partnerships in robotics with dozens of industry leaders, including COSCO Shipping, Lenovo and Joyson Electronics.

SIIC Tech Capital serves as the primary technology investment and incubation platform of SIIC Group, operating a full-cycle investment ecosystem covering incubation, venture capital and private equity activities. Leveraging its access to industrial scenarios and financial resources, the company plans to work with robotics industry partners to establish the World Robot Super Accelerator in Hong Kong. The project aims to serve as a bridge connecting the Chinese Mainland's robotics sector with global markets while offering startups and technology companies support ranging from facilities and R&D services to international certification, data collection and financing resources.

The agreement marks an important step in Black Sesame Technologies' efforts to expand its embodied AI ecosystem through cross-border collaboration. Looking ahead, the two companies intend to deepen cooperation across technology, investment and industrial development initiatives, with the goal of accelerating the commercialization of embodied intelligence technologies and supporting the long-term growth of China's robotics industry.
