Gasgoo Munich- Shanghai Jiading district and Hisense Group Holding Co., Ltd. officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement on September 20, 2026. Under the deal, Hisense will establish a Shanghai Innovation Center and its East China regional headquarters in Jiading, alongside a global R&D center and China headquarters for its Three-Electric systems business. The partnership focuses on deep collaboration in automotive industry upgrades, new consumer scenarios, semiconductor technology breakthroughs, and the mutual introduction of industrial resources.

Automotive electronics sits at the heart of this collaboration. Leveraging Jiading’s concentrated automotive ecosystem and supply chain advantages, the two parties aim to drive the strategic transformation of Hisense's automotive electronics business.
The agreement aligns with Shanghai’s "2+3+6+6" modern industrial system roadmap for the 15th Five-Year Plan, targeting three key sectors: intelligent connected new energy vehicles, integrated circuits, and new consumption. As the home of the Shanghai International Automobile City, Jiading has a complete supply chain for vehicles and components. By anchoring both its regional headquarters and core R&D center there, Hisense aims to tap into the local ecosystem to accelerate tech iteration and client expansion for its automotive electronics division.
Beyond automotive ventures, the partners will explore a "Home Appliance +" crossover model in the consumer space, piloting initiatives centered on customized, scenario-based, and smart consumption. Concurrently, Hisense plans to deepen collaborative innovation with universities, research institutes, and upstream and downstream enterprises across the Yangtze River Delta, positioning Jiading as a key R&D hub for its related industries in East China.
Public records show Hisense Group, established in 1969, operates 32 R&D centers, 41 industrial parks and manufacturing bases, and maintains 65 overseas companies and offices.
