Gasgoo Munich- Joyson Safety Systems announced on August 25 that the main structure of its Suzhou production base has been successfully topped out.
As the company's ninth production base in China, the facility achieved a significant construction leap—going from the first beam installation to structural topping out in just four months after officially breaking ground in early 2026.
Located in the Suzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone in Anhui Province, the Joyson Safety (Suzhou) base covers a planned land area of over 100,000 square meters, with a total floor space exceeding 78,000 square meters.

Situated in the heart of the Huaihai Economic Zone, the site lies within a "four-hour new-energy vehicle industry circle." Its proximity to major hubs like Hefei and Wuhu allows for efficient coordination with automotive clusters in the Yangtze River Delta and surrounding regions.
Slated for full completion by 2027, the Suzhou base is set to become a key production hub for Joyson Safety in China.
From the outset, the project has centered on digitalization, automation, and intelligence, aiming to build a smart manufacturing system that is efficient, flexible, and high-quality.
Once operational, the plant will introduce advanced manufacturing processes such as robotic foaming and laser grinding. Integrated with AGV automated handling systems, it will streamline the entire chain spanning production, logistics, and warehousing.
Joyson Safety stated that the new base will strengthen its localized manufacturing and service capabilities, deepening long-term partnerships with OEM customers by offering more agile responses and efficient collaboration.
