Gasgoo Munich- Xynova recently closed a Pre-A funding round worth hundreds of millions of yuan. The round was led by a top-tier internet giant.
Xynova plans to deploy the new capital primarily to boost talent density, accelerate mass production, and scale commercial deployment. The company will also continue to refine core technologies for dexterous hands. It aims to drive the large-scale application of embodied AI in real-world scenarios. This will bring dexterous manipulation capabilities to industrial, commercial, and household settings sooner.
Founded in 2024, Xynova is dedicated to building commercially viable, mass-producible dexterous manipulation hardware and algorithms for the "last centimeter" of embodied AI. Its product lineup focuses on high-degree-of-freedom (DoF) dexterous hands, miniature electric cylinders, and integrated joint modules. The company stands as one of the few embodied AI manufacturers in China with full in-house R&D and production capabilities spanning motors, motor controls, algorithms, lead screws, and reducers.

On the product front, Xynova's flagship Xynova Flex 1 employs a tendon-driven architecture that integrates the arm and hand with high degrees of freedom. This design balances high flexibility, high output force, and lightweight construction. It features 25 degrees of freedom and a palm weight of 380 grams. The load capacity exceeds 30 kilograms, with a single-finger fingertip force of over 20 N. The product is scheduled for launch in August 2025.
Building on this, Xynova plans to unveil the Xynova Flex 2 later this year. The new model is expected to feature significant optimizations in control algorithms, perception capabilities, and overall size.
Beyond iterating its products, Xynova has already secured orders from leading humanoid robot OEMs and established deep partnerships with top robotics firms and industrial giants. Earlier this year, the company began mass production preparations by recruiting talent from the consumer electronics and automotive sectors to ensure smooth delivery. The new facility is expected to enter the production ramp-up phase soon. It targets an annual capacity of over 10,000 high-DoF dexterous hands and 200,000 miniature electric cylinders by year-end.
