The ZEEKR 001 is equipped with seven 8-megapixel HD cameras and four parking cameras that provide 360° sensing capability, as well as two 7nm EyeQ® 5 High system integration chips. Users can complete this important OTA software update with a simple click. It is worth mentioning that this upgrade comes less than two years after the two companies announced cooperation on SuperVision™.
The hardware installed on the ZEEKR 001 allows Mobileye's algorithms to cover almost the entire driving environment and command the vehicle to intelligently respond to a multitude of information and objects.
The upgrade enables the vehicle to travel at up to 130km/h on roads with clear lane markings. The system is adaptive to different curvatures of the road and provides the latest camera-radar fusion sensing capabilities.
According to Mobileye, the partners plan to introduce the use of high-precision mapping technology to support more cloud-enhanced features (including comprehensive navigation assistance), as well as urban road driving assistance, parking, etc. in future OTA updates.
