Gasgoo Munich- DIGIT Robotics has recently closed a 100-million-yuan Pre-A strategic round, according to Gasgoo Embodied Intelligence. The financing was jointly led by a consortium of deep-pocketed industrial investors, with existing shareholder Cowin Capital doubling down on its stake. Several other current shareholders have also signaled their intent to increase their investment in subsequent rounds.
The company plans to channel the new capital into two key areas: mass production of its bionic intelligence series to accelerate the deployment of "warm humanoid robots" across diverse industries, and the ecosystem development of RoboEase, its scenario brain, to create a more open and accessible platform for orchestrating intelligent agent operations.
Founded in March 2024, DIGIT Robotics is dedicated to creating "warm humanoid robots" and driving the commercial scale-up of general-purpose robotics. Guided by the philosophy "more bionic through intelligence," the startup is pouring resources into core technologies like high-precision facial expression control, attention mechanisms, long-term memory systems, and fast-slow brain architectures.

At the recent WAIC 2026, DIGIT Robotics unveiled its latest bionic humanoid robot, the Xialan R03. The unit features a face with over 40 degrees of freedom covering key muscle groups, capable of delivering more than 30 complex expressions. It supports multi-language communication and wake-word-free dialogue, allowing it to handle end-to-end tasks like reception and guidance autonomously—enabling fully unattended operation.
Beyond the R03, the company's portfolio includes the general-purpose humanoid "Xiaqi," the IP-customized dual-form robot "Xingxingxia P2," and the AI singer "Xialan Ruta."

The "Xialan Ruta," for instance, is equipped with a precision bionic facial system boasting nearly 30 active degrees of freedom. Paired with an emotion computing engine, it achieves real-time synchronization of facial expressions and emotions while singing. Furthermore, the robot features a proprietary AI creation engine capable of independent lyric and songwriting, as well as musical arrangement.
DIGIT Robotics's RoboEase scenario brain uses a graphical process design that allows users to orchestrate intelligent agent operations without writing code. The system is already widely deployed in public service settings—including banks, elderly care facilities, government halls, hospital triage centers, and hotel front desks—accelerating the integration of robots into diverse industries.
