Gasgoo Munich- Shanghai Lingshu Zhifu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. has closed back-to-back seed and angel funding rounds, raising more than 10 million yuan in total, according to Gasgoo Embodied Intelligence.
Proceeds will primarily fund the construction of a pilot production line for materials and customer sampling.

Founded in April 2025, Lingshu Zhifu was established by Jia Wei, who completed his undergraduate, master's, and doctoral studies in polymer science at Fudan University. The core team is largely drawn from the same department. Rather than building robots, the company focuses on the "tactile" aspect—specifically flexible tactile sensing materials and devices—pursuing a technology path known as "ionic skin."
Ionic skin works by embedding ions into a soft polymer substrate to generate electrical signals through ionic changes. It conducts ions rather than electricity, allowing it to adhere to dexterous hands or data gloves much like real skin. It can detect contact, force intensity, and slippage. This material offers a wide range of chemical system options, along with strong sensitivity and signal stability, and can even incorporate self-healing capabilities.
Lingshu Zhifu's materials have already passed reliability verification, including the "Double 85" test (85°C/85% humidity), and withstood over 10 million repetitive mechanical cycles. The company has introduced finger tactile sensors and fingertip-plus-palm sensor modules that support tap, long-press, slip, and tangential force detection. These components are designed for use in data gloves and dexterous robotic hands.
With material formulations and samples validated, Lingshu Zhifu is now building its pilot line. The company is currently sampling products to customers in humanoid robotics, companion robots, smart wearables, and automotive sectors, though mass production has not yet begun.
Tactile sensing is often regarded as the "final puzzle piece" of embodied intelligence. Recently, electronic skin and tactile sensing companies have secured funding in quick succession, signaling a warming sector. Yet for Lingshu Zhifu, sampling is merely the first step. The real test lies ahead: passing customer validation and transforming the pilot line into stable mass production.
