Seeds | MagicLab Officially Announces 500 Million Yuan New Funding

Gasgoo Munich- On March 9, MagicLab officially announced the completion of a new 500 million yuan funding round.

Tuopu Group's participation in funding, in particular, is expected to complement MagicLab's existing technology and product lineup in areas such as manufacturing systems, core component supply, and mass production capabilities. Meanwhile, the two sides will deepen collaboration in intelligent and automated industrial manufacturing scenarios, accelerating MagicLab's product iteration and cost optimization to establish a leading market position.

Just prior to this, MagicLab announced that its national headquarters will be located in Wuxi Liangxi Science and Technology City.

Founded in 2024, MagicLab pursues a strategy of "Embodied Intelligence + X" built on a "1+2+N" framework. It relies on in-house, full-stack capabilities that integrate hardware and software, focusing on two core product lines—humanoid robots and quadruped robots—while continuously expanding outward through N ecosystem touchpoints to build an intelligent ecosystem for the real world.

On the humanoid front, MagicLab's full-size general-purpose robot, the MagicBot Gen1, leverages proprietary core technologies such as joint modules, dexterous hands, and the “Atom Universal” large model. It is designed for applications in flexible industrial production, precision assembly, and service roles like shopping guidance. Meanwhile, the high-dynamic bipedal MagicBot Z1 targets research, education, and consumer markets, boasting a top speed of 4 m/s and a joint range of motion of 320°.

In the quadruped space, MagicLab has established a diverse product lineup spanning consumer, wheeled, and industrial-grade models, continuously expanding the boundaries of robot applications in home, entertainment, inspection, and emergency response scenarios.

Beyond these two core product lines, MagicLab is steadily expanding its “N” ecosystem boundaries with notable progress.

On the ecosystem front, MagicLab has built an “Embodied Intelligence + X” capability centered on proprietary robotic arms and solutions. Partnering with firms such as Starry Plan, Zhiyue Youchuang, and Qingting Intelligent, it aims to enable smart upgrades in vertical sectors ranging from automotive and lawn care to pool cleaning, mining, and kitchen appliances.

For industrial deployment, MagicLab has signed a strategic procurement agreement with Dreame Technology. The partnership will phase in humanoid and quadruped robots across factory and retail settings. Robots will handle tasks like loading, transport, and plating, while also being tested in store operations. Trial data indicates foot traffic surged over 100% at locations featuring the robots.

In commercial services, MagicLab has rolled out standardized solutions for exhibition guides, store navigation, and interactive events. These support rapid deployment, secondary development, and integration with clients' proprietary models.

Additionally, MagicLab has launched solutions for “unmanned stores” and “coffee robots” as key touchpoints for its embodied intelligence ecosystem. These have already been deployed across Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Wuxi, as well as in various cultural tourism settings.

Building on this foundation,by 2026 MagicLab says it will continue to expand its product line, introducing more multi-form robots for the consumer market and further pushing into industrial, commercial, and public spaces.
