Gasgoo Munich- ManuPrax Robotics has recently closed two consecutive funding rounds, totaling nearly $10 million.
Founded in September 2026, ManuPrax Robotics was co-founded by two Gen Z researchers. CEO Li Puhao, a student at Tsinghua University’s Department of Automation, has focused on dexterous hands and manipulation research since 2021.
CTO Chen Zeyuan holds a master’s degree from Peking University and has long studied underlying interaction algorithms for dexterous manipulation. He contributed to projects such as ClutterDexGrasp and CADGrasp, and previously conducted research at Amazon FAR, Agibot, and JD.com.

Strategically, ManuPrax Robotics focuses on robotic dexterous manipulation. It aims to build an integrated software-hardware solution for dexterous hands, leveraging algorithms, data, and engineering capabilities to enhance robots' fine motor skills in real-world environments.
Specifically, the company is pursuing a reinforcement learning approach, allowing models to learn manipulation strategies through interaction, trial and error, and feedback. Currently, JiBen is exploring ways to combine simulation, human demonstrations, and generated interaction trajectories to build a training data ecosystem. It is also validating the transfer of models from simulated to real-world hardware.
ManuPrax Robotics aims to create an operational model platform compatible with various dexterous hardware. The platform is designed to bridge the gap between high-level goals from multimodal large models and specific hardware execution, providing robotic systems with callable manipulation capabilities.
While advancing model development, the team is also considering developing proprietary hardware or partnering with manufacturers to accelerate technical verification and accumulate real-world data and feedback.
