China exported 35,000 units 1.5 liter-2.5 liter gasoline sedans in the first six month of the year, an increase of 527.7% from a year earlier, according to a report released yesterday by China Chamber of Commerce for Machinery and Electronic Products.

In the first six month of this year, China exported 67,000 family sedans, up 94.2% from a year earlier. Family sedans take 27.8% of China's total automobile exports over the six month period.
This is the first time 1.5 liter-2.5 liter gasoline sedan becomes mainstay of China's sedan exports, the report said.
According to the report, 1.5 liter-2.5 liter gasoline sedan takes 51.6% of China's total sedan exports; by contrast, the export volume of 1.0 liter-1.5liter family sedans declined.
