Gasgoo Munich- Black Sesame Technologies and AUBO Robotics have recently forged a multi-layered partnership spanning project applications, joint R&D, and commercial supply, according to Gasgoo Embodied Intelligence.

Black Sesame Technologies announced that AUBO Robotics has purchased its first batch of Aura Dev Kits. Deliveries were completed in July to support the development of AUBO's collaborative robots.

Specifically, the two companies will collaborate on the "perception-decision-control" chain critical to embodied intelligence robots. Together, they aim to tackle technical challenges in high-real-time, low-power edge computing and adaptive scenario recognition. The partnership also extends to joint product development, ecosystem building, and talent cultivation.

AUBO Robotics has also formed a consortium with Black Sesame Technologies, other enterprises, and academic institutions including Tsinghua University. The group is bidding for a "leading enterprise" designation under a high-quality manufacturing development initiative, with a dual-arm collaborative robot for consumer electronics assembly serving as the flagship product.

AUBO Robotics aims to build world-class intelligent collaborative and embodied robots by integrating industrial internet, big data, and cutting-edge embodied intelligence into its modular, open-platform cobot products.

The Aura computing module involved in the partnership is a core component of Black Sesame Technologies' SesameX platform. Built for complex scenarios like multi-legged robots and collaborative arms, it delivers 70 TOPS of heterogeneous computing power. The platform supports multi-modal synchronous sensing and millisecond-level motion control, excelling at the real-time coordination of perception, decision-making, and movement.

Black Sesame Technologies is now expanding its automotive-grade AI capabilities into the robotics sector with its SesameX platform. The lineup features a full gradient of computing modules—Kalos, Aura, and Liora—ranging from 16 to 700 TOPS.

The Kalos platform targets commercial service robots, integrating visual perception with motion control and offering up to 48 TOPS. It features a dual-core lock-step MCU architecture designed to overcome common industry pain points: instability, high costs, and mass production difficulties. Aimed at low-speed wheeled scenarios like delivery, cleaning, patrol, and reception, Kalos is positioned as a mature, cost-effective hub for commercial robotics.

Meanwhile, the Liora platform delivers up to 700 TOPS and supports world models and end-to-end control. Designed for advanced applications like humanoid robots and multi-robot systems, it enables autonomous thinking, prediction, and decision-making.
