Gasgoo Munich- on September 9, Cao Cao Mobility officially launched an AI-powered ride-hailing service in partnership with Doubao across Beijing, Hangzhou, and Suzhou. By integrating mobility capabilities with AI agents, the initiative aims to extend AI use cases beyond information retrieval into real-world fulfillment.

Within the Doubao app, when users search for local lifestyle information—such as routes, entertainment venues, or restaurants—the system does more than just provide answers. It generates travel options based on location data, creating a seamless loop from "information query" to "itinerary planning" and finally "ride booking."
Leveraging Cao Cao Mobility's scenario-based service framework, the AI ride-hailing feature intelligently matches vehicles to specific user requests. For instance, mentioning keywords like "extra legroom" or "pre-ventilation" prompts recommendations for premium rides or the Smart White Car fleet. In pilot accessibility zones in Suzhou and Hangzhou, the system recognizes terms like "wheelchair" or "limited mobility" to dispatch accessible vehicles. This streamlines previously manual filter processes into a single tap.
Furthermore, using smart vehicle controls in Cao Cao Mobility's custom fleet, users can pre-set preferences within the Doubao chat interface. These include route, air conditioning temperature, ventilation modes, and music styles. The vehicle adjusts to these settings before arrival. The system also remembers frequent habits, automatically applying them in subsequent rides.
As a key platform for commercializing Geely Holding Group’s RoboX initiative, Cao Cao Mobility has already integrated AI into smart dispatching, operations management, and safety risk control. This partnership with Doubao bridges AI agents with transport capacity, extending services to the user terminal and providing the scenarios and fulfillment infrastructure needed for real-world AI application. The company plans to deepen its collaboration with Doubao to explore features like advanced vehicle controls, expand the service to more cities, and advance the development of Robotaxi capabilities.
