Gasgoo Munich-On April 30, Changan NEVO announced a price adjustment. Citing a sharp rise in global automotive-grade chip costs, the automaker is raising the official guide price for the Q07 Tianshu Intelligent LiDAR Edition, a mid-size new energy SUV. The increase stands at 3,000 yuan, taking effect on May 7, 2026.
According to the official notice, the adjustment is targeted: it applies strictly to vehicles where production begins after 00:00 on May 7. Existing inventory produced before that cutoff will remain at the original pricing standard and will not be impacted by this hike.
The hike covers three variants: the 215 Laser Honor, 215 Laser Flagship, and 215 Laser Flagship PLUS. Originally priced at 156,800 yuan, 166,800 yuan, and 176,800 yuan respectively, they will now sell for 159,800 yuan, 169,800 yuan, and 179,800 yuan.

Launched in October 2025, the Q07 Tianshu Intelligent LiDAR Edition represents the brand's premium smart-driving offering. At its core is a single LiDAR sensor and a Horizon Robotics Journey 6M chip, delivering 128 TOPS of computing power. This setup enables L2+ advanced driver-assistance features, including highway NOA navigation on autopilot and full-scenario smart parking.
The price move is a direct response to upstream supply chain strain. Since 2026, prices for automotive-grade DDR5 chips have surged as AI production capacity siphons off supply. That spike has significantly driven up the cost of smart hardware per vehicle, becoming the primary trigger for the automaker's pricing decision.
So far, Changan NEVO has left other versions untouched; this is a targeted response for a single high-end trim. Against a backdrop of rising global chip costs, tweaking prices on highly intelligent models is a standard method for passing on pressure. By pegging the new pricing to production timing, the company is also balancing consumer interests with market order.
