Amid the sales growth, Chery has released a carbon reduction framework covering the entire lifecycle of its new energy vehicles. The system covers four stages: raw materials, manufacturing, operations, and recycling.

In terms of materials, Chery uses a "100% recycled aluminum, heat-treatment-free, integrated die-casting" process. This reduces carbon emissions by approximately 80% compared to virgin aluminum and cuts manufacturing emissions by 97.5% compared to traditional heat-treatment methods. The technology has been used to reduce body weight in models such as the Exlantix ES and ET.

In manufacturing, renewable energy accounts for 52.77% of the energy mix at Chery's vehicle assembly bases. The company has built seven green or zero-carbon factories and plans to increase this to 25 by 2030. Regarding batteries, its "Rhino" cells have achieved an energy density of 400 Wh/kg, with iterations targeting 600 Wh/kg. Vehicles equipped with these batteries have a range of 1,500 kilometers and a cycle life of 5,000 charges, reducing per-vehicle lifecycle emissions through improved efficiency and longevity.

On the product side, new energy vehicles accounted for over 90% of Chery's launches in the first half, covering the 50,000 to 500,000 CNY price range. The all-new QQ3 sold over 10,000 units for three consecutive months. The iCAR V27 ranks first in the 200,000 CNY extended-range SUV segment. The Luxeed V9 received over 18,000 orders within 21 days of launch. The Exeed EX7 targets the performance luxury market. The Zongheng G700 has gained recognition in overseas high-end markets.

Regarding exports, Chery Group's overseas shipments of new energy vehicles increased 164.9% in the first half. From January to May, cumulative sales in Europe reached 68,949 units, up 458.62% year-on-year. In Europe, one out of every two Chery vehicles sold is a new energy model.
