From January to May this year, China's total import and export was valued at 801.34 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 23.7%. Exports were 443.53 billion U.S. dollars, increasing by 27.8% and imports were 357.81 billion U.S. dollars, a growth of 19.1%. Import and export of electromechanical products were 438.21 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 21.6%, of which exports were 254.02 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 27.5%, and imports were 184.19 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 14.6%.
China foreign trade surplus accumulated to 85.72 billion U.S. dollars from January to May, an increase of 83.2%, electromechanical products trade surplus accumulated to 69.83 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 81.3%, and electromechanical products trade surplus account for 81.5%.
