According to the import and export statistics released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturer, China's sedan exports saw rapid growth between January and May in 2007, with total exports reaching 51,700 units, an increase of 80.85% y/y.
China's complete built-up exports totaled 47,000 units in May 2007, increased 12.12% compared to that of Apr and up 80.27% y/y. The foreign currency earnings through exports were 524 million U.S. dollars, grew by 7.09% compared to that of Apr and up 6o% y/y.
