CHRYSLER LLC plans to enter China's market for small and compact cars, the Wall Street Journal said, citing the president of Chrysler Group China Sales Ltd.
Chrysler's sales in China will more than double to about 20,000 vehicles this year from fewer than 8,000 last year, boosted by new models, the report quoted Simon Elliott as saying.
Chrysler plans to increase the number of Chrysler-Jeep dealerships in China to 116 from 81 and to expand the number of Dodge dealerships to 60 from zero, the report said.
