Gasgoo Munich- Foton recently took the stage at the 2026 Hannover IAA Transportation show with seven complete vehicles and six self-developed core components. During the event, the company marked a milestone: the global delivery of its 13 millionth vehicle. The unit, an Auman Galaxy 9, has entered the Spanish market. Meanwhile, the Cavan BEACON flagship heavy truck made its overseas debut.

To address the diverse needs of the European market, Foton displayed seven new-energy vehicles, including the Auman Galaxy 9 PHEV, Cavan BEACON, Aumark EHL low-entry sanitation truck, Qimingxing, Cavan Lofu, Mars 9 Supreme PHEV, and the Foton AUV 12-meter city bus. The lineup spans plug-in hybrids, pure electrics, and hydrogen fuel cells. Notably, the Auman Galaxy 9 has completed real-world road testing in Spain, while the Cavan Lofu has already achieved commercial overseas launch.
Making its first public appearance overseas, the Cavan BEACON is built for long-haul trunk lines and natively supports both pure electric and hydrogen fuel powertrains. Featuring a sail-inspired biomimetic body, the truck boasts a drag coefficient of 0.28. Its floor height drops to 1,450 millimeters, offering an internal cabin volume of 12 cubic meters. The pure electric version delivers a range exceeding 600 kilometers, while the hydrogen model surpasses 1,000 kilometers. Durability is key: the vehicle battery boasts a B10 life of 2 million kilometers, while the fuel cell and electric drive core assemblies exceed 1.6 million kilometers.
On the components front, Foton showcased a suite of self-developed hardware, including heavy-duty power batteries, heavy-duty electronic controls, heavy and light electric drive axles, low-voltage controllers, and megawatt-level charging piles. The company’s in-house parallel and coaxial electric drive axles achieve peak efficiencies of over 93.5% and 94%, respectively, while the power batteries are compatible with 1.44-megawatt ultra-fast charging.
At the show, Foton unveiled a new European strategy. Its sales network currently covers nearly 20 countries, with plans to achieve full coverage in core European markets by 2028. On the service and parts front, Foton has established a regional parts center in Germany, with warehouses operational in 17 countries and over 300 authorized service outlets across Europe.
From breaking the 10 million production and sales mark in 2021, to rolling out the 12 millionth unit at its Brazil plant in 2025, and now delivering the 13 millionth vehicle in Europe, Foton continues to drive its global expansion forward.
