Shangjie is a brand co-created by SAIC and Huawei, blending SAIC's vehicle manufacturing prowess with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS and HarmonyOS cockpit technologies. The brand focuses on the integrated development of chassis, intelligent driving, and cockpit systems. Leveraging two manufacturing bases in Shanghai’s Jinqiao and Nanjing’s Jiangning, Shangjie has rolled out the Z7 series and is advancing multi-platform product iterations.
On the sales front, data from the Gasgoo Institute forecasts that Shangjie’s sales will hit 12,394 units in August 2026. Looking ahead, analysts at the Gasgoo Institute note that as multi-platform product iterations accelerate and the integrated intelligent driving-chassis experience matures, Shangjie’s monthly sales are poised for steady growth. This will eventually position the brand as a benchmark for the commercialization of smart electric chassis technology.

Core chassis technology is the backbone of Shangjie’s market push. The Shangjie Z7 is built on Huawei’s Tuling platform, featuring front double-wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension. Continuous Damping Control (CDC) shock absorbers come standard across the lineup, with top-tier trims adding air suspension. The Z7T shares the same Tuling architecture and suspension layout, also with standard CDC; Max+ and Ultra versions upgrade to air suspension. Shangjie has partnered with Gasgoo for this supplier technology exhibition. First, the Suspension System track focuses on multi-link suspensions, upper and lower control arms, steering knuckles, subframes, air springs, CDC variable dampers, stabilizer bars, and suspension bushings. Second, the Axle and E-Drive track covers half-shafts, wheel hub units, and e-axle components. Third, the Smart Chassis track encompasses steer-by-wire components, EPS assemblies, One-box electric braking systems, chassis domain controllers, four-wheel steering actuators, and body height sensors. Fourth, the Chassis Testing track includes suspension HIL test benches, steer-by-wire test rigs, electric brake performance testers, multi-channel chassis fatigue testing systems, and vehicle dynamics simulation equipment.
Through multidimensional technical displays and exchanges, the event will highlight innovative achievements across the smart electric chassis industry—spanning suspension, axles, wire control, and testing—offering upstream and downstream companies opportunities for technical collaboration and partnership.

International companies bring mature technical systems to the table. For instance, DuPont offers specialty greases tailored for steer-by-wire and EMB scenarios, while Dätwyler and Bolzhaus boast decades of expertise in seals and fasteners, respectively.
