Gasgoo Munich- The 2026 Chengdu International Auto Show opened on August 21, with JAC Group showcasing the MAEXTRO V800, the MAEXTRO S800 Grand Design, and the new Hunter, among others. Running alongside the event, the company also launched JAC DAY 2026 — its sixth overseas brand festival.

The MAEXTRO V800 marked its first public appearance since hitting the market. Measuring 5,495 mm in length with a 3,430 mm wheelbase, the model boasts a drag coefficient of 0.259 Cd and a combined range of 1,335 km. It comes equipped with Huawei's Qiankun ADS 5 and an 800V active suspension. Sharing the stage was the MAEXTRO S800 Grand Design, centered on a design philosophy of harmony between heaven, earth, and humanity, and powered by Huawei's ADS 5 alongside its new Xinglong platform. Since their August 5 launch, the V800 and V680 collectively racked up 3,500 firm orders within 24 hours. Meanwhile, the new HUNTER received a comprehensive interior refresh.

JAC Group's partnership with Huawei has evolved from single-model technical collaboration into a platform-level, systematic strategic cooperation 2.0. In the first half of the year, the two parties formally signed a joint innovation cooperation agreement and established a smart electric joint innovation center with Huawei Digital Energy. Leveraging the MAEXTRO project, JAC is benchmarking Huawei's management model to drive deep reforms across three key processes: IPD, ISC, and IPMS.

On the international front, JAC DAY 2026 — themed "Join and Cherish" — brought together over 100 overseas media representatives and users from more than 20 countries. To date, JAC Group has established 31 global production bases and over 5,000 user centers, with products exported to more than 130 countries and regions and cumulative deliveries exceeding 12 million vehicles.
The semi-annual report reveals JAC Group generated 22.13 billion yuan in revenue during the first half, a 14.31% year-on-year increase, while R&D spending reached 1.79 billion yuan, up 13.95%. Since mass deliveries began in September 2025, the MAEXTRO S800 has handed over more than 19,000 units, holding the top spot in million-yuan luxury sales for ten consecutive months.
