Recently, Jiangxi Jiangling Group and German Getrag Group, the world's largest independent stick-shift manufacturer signed cooperation agreements to set up Getrag Transmission System Ltd. in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, targeting the world's largest transmission and transmission parts manufacturers and suppliers.
34 million euros invested by Getrag Group, the joint venture production is expected to commence 2Q 07, with annual output of 55 million manual transmission and automated manual transmission and more than 170 million sets of transmission parts within 2-3 years. Products are primarily for the domestic market.
