Under the agreement, the two parties plan to jointly fund a venture anchored by the Hengnan County smart manufacturing base, focusing on core robot components and full-assembly manufacturing. The project has backing from the Hengnan County government and the Hengyang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone management committee. Specific investment sizes and production timelines remain undisclosed.
On the technology and industrial synergy front, the partners will focus on physical AI and robotics, driving collaboration across core components, joint modules, dexterous hands, full-assembly manufacturing, and application scenarios.
Lingyi iTech will bring its capabilities in robot component manufacturing, system integration, and global delivery. Runze, for its part, will leverage its strengths in incubating AI-agent supply chains and building industry-ecosystem platforms. Together, they aim to explore robotics R&D and commercial deployment.
Lingyi iTech has been steadily expanding into embodied intelligence and AI computing infrastructure in recent years. It has already deployed embodied smart manufacturing bases in Beijing, Chengdu, Zhengzhou, and Dongguan, as well as multiple overseas locations, and forged ties with several domestic and international robotics firms.
At its core, the alliance seeks to blend robotics manufacturing prowess with AI-agent ecosystem resources. Going forward, the pace of the joint venture's setup, the manufacturing base's construction, and the landing of actual orders will serve as key barometers for the partnership's success.
