On Sept. 21, Luxshare Automotive and Infineon Technologies, a global automotive semiconductor solutions provider, officially signed an agreement and inaugurated their Innovation Application Center, according to a post on LUXSHARE-ICT's WeChat account..
Against the backdrop of accelerating electrification, intelligentization and software-defined vehicle development, the two companies will use the center to conduct joint innovation, reference design and system-level validation around key automotive applications. The initiative is intended to shorten the path from concept development to mass production and support the development of safer, more efficient and more competitive automotive electronics systems for customers.

LUXSHARE-ICT said it is transitioning from a precision manufacturing platform focused on consumer electronics toward a diversified technology group, with automotive electronics emerging as an important growth driver. Through deeper cooperation with Infineon, Luxshare Automotive will further accelerate its global expansion in ADAS, intelligent cockpits and intelligent chassis, while strengthening its core technology capabilities and market reach.
The two companies have already begun testing and validation in areas including automotive-grade component selection and sample evaluation. The new center is expected to further systematize and establish a platform for their existing cooperation, creating a joint reference design and validation platform to improve solution iteration efficiency and accelerate customer adoption.
Building on Luxshare's experience in precision manufacturing and system integration and Infineon's expertise in automotive semiconductors, the two companies will establish a regular collaboration mechanism through the center, conducting joint innovation and validation around key application scenarios to accelerate the commercialization of solutions.
The center is also expected to strengthen Luxshare Automotive's system-level solution delivery capabilities in local markets. Through closer collaboration with customers and application scenarios, the companies aim to improve project response times and delivery quality while providing more reusable engineering support to industry partners.
The Innovation Application Center will focus on key automotive electronics technologies. In automotive millimeter-wave radar, for example, Luxshare Automotive has already achieved mass production of a centralized-architecture satellite radar based on Infineon's CTRX8188 chip. The two companies are now jointly advancing innovation and engineering validation for the next generation of distributed radar systems.
Looking ahead, Luxshare Automotive will use the Innovation Application Center as a platform to deepen its technological collaboration and localized application support with Infineon, working with industry partners to advance innovations from the laboratory to large-scale production. The center is expected to provide a foundation for broader cooperation across vehicle platforms and application scenarios, while supporting the development of China's intelligent and electric vehicle supply chain.
