Gasgoo Munich-Pateo officially launched production at its Ruian smart manufacturing base on June 23, marking the facility's full entry into operations. The move represents a strategic step for the automotive tech supplier in smart parts manufacturing, aimed at bolstering its production network across the Yangtze River Delta.

Positioned as an ecosystem for smart automotive components, the facility spans the entire value chain—from R&D and production to after-sales service. The aim is to create a modern industrial park that blends high-end manufacturing with advanced technology and sustainable practices. As artificial intelligence reshapes the automotive landscape, Pateo says the base's primary mission is translating R&D strengths into scalable manufacturing capabilities, bridging the critical gap between innovation and mass production.
Operations at the Ruian base will focus on two main pillars. First, the facility will ramp up high-quality mass production of core components like smart cockpit domain controllers, relying on rigorous quality controls to serve global clients. Second, it will gradually expand into frontier categories such as core components for smart robots, transforming the site into a comprehensive manufacturing platform spanning multiple sectors.
Pateo has spent 17 years deepening its expertise in automotive intelligence, offering a "hardware-software-chip-cloud" full-stack capability. The company has served more than 50 automotive brands and over 200 vehicle models to date. Looking ahead, Pateo plans to use the Ruian base as a fulcrum to integrate technology with manufacturing, aligning with the broader development of the Yangtze River Delta and driving upgrades to regional industrial clusters.
