QCraft's Urban NOA Debuts at Paris Motor Show, Completes Multi-Scenario Road Testing in Paris

Gasgoo Munich- The 2026 Paris Motor Show kicked off on Oct. 12. Chinese autonomous driving firm QCraft made its presence felt with an urban NOA solution, showcasing its road test results in Paris for the first time. The company opened test rides to European automakers and partners, accelerating its expansion across the continent.

The system on display, QCraft's "Chengfeng" navigation assist, features 11 cameras and one LiDAR. It relies on a one-stage end-to-end technical architecture to support both highway and urban NOA functions. Tailored for European roads, the solution prioritizes handling complex traffic signals and navigating roundabouts.

QCraft says it has completed multi-scenario road tests across Paris and surrounding highways, covering complex intersections, roundabouts, sharp ramps, and avoidance maneuvers for pedestrians and vehicles. However, specific metrics like total mileage and take-over rates remain undisclosed.

Technically, the system is built on a "world model + reinforcement learning" physical AI architecture. It incorporates explainable end-to-end technology, allowing for the tracing and verification of driving decisions. Yet, meeting European traffic regulations, functional safety standards, and market access requirements remains a critical hurdle for mass production.

On the production front, QCraft revealed its driver-assist systems have been installed in over 1 million vehicles across more than 40 models. Company data shows its AEB false-trigger rate sits below once every 500,000 km. Whether these figures hold up across diverse European road conditions remains to be seen through further testing.

Notably, QCraft established its European headquarters in Munich to oversee R&D, certification, and business expansion. In 2025, the company announced a partnership with Qualcomm to develop driver-assist solutions for global automakers.

From setting up in Germany to testing in Paris, QCraft's European operations are shifting from market positioning to real-world verification. Still, for Chinese autonomous driving suppliers, road testing abroad is just the first step. The true test lies in securing production design wins from local automakers and navigating regulatory compliance and scaled delivery.
