Seeds | Juwei Technology Completes Series A Financing Rounds Totaling Hundreds of Millions of Yuan

Edited by Taylor From Gasgoo

Gasgoo Munich-Gasgoo has learned that Juwei Technology has successfully wrapped up four consecutive Series A rounds totaling hundreds of millions of yuan. Proceeds from this financing will primarily fuel deep R&D into core technologies, while also driving the large-scale deployment and commercialization of specialized application scenarios nationwide.

The latest A+++ round was co-led by Binzhou Guotou, Weiqiao Group, and Binzhou Chemical, with participation from Heda Holdings and Denuo Capital.

A Global Fortune 500 player in the energy and aluminum sectors, Weiqiao Group has a critical need for magnetism-proof, anti-interference, and highly reliable robots in its core electrolytic aluminum operations. This creates a natural industrial synergy with Juwei Technology's robotics business.

Meanwhile, Binzhou Chemical, a leader in the chemical industry, operates production environments often characterized by flammability, explosiveness, and strong corrosiveness—offering immediate, rich application opportunities for Juwei's explosion-proof robots.

Prior to this, Juwei closed its Series A round in January. Strategic entries came from listed companies and professional investment institutions like Zhengqiang Shares, Yilian Technology, and Luxin Ventures. By February, the company further completed Series A+ and A++ rounds. These attracted strategic capital from quality industrial and state investors such as Jianyuan Tianhua and Binzhou Guotou.

That puts Juwei at four consecutive funding rounds in just four months—a pace that highlights both the speed of the deal and the intensity of investor interest.

As a quadruped robot specialist focused on specialized industrial scenarios, Juwei targets high-risk and harsh environments—specifically extreme conditions requiring protection against magnetism, explosions, water, and freezing. The company aims to equip 20 million roles unfit for human labor within the next three years.

To that end, Juwei's hardware features a "wide-body, short-leg" mechanical design, proprietary "Jinqing" joint modules, and a pioneering energy-recovery battery system. This ensures long endurance and high-load capacity in extreme environments.

On the algorithmic front, the company has achieved integration of "sensing, control, and actuation." Its self-developed skeletal algorithm uses reinforcement learning to optimize overall performance. This significantly boosts stability and continuous operation capabilities in harsh conditions involving strong magnetism, high heat, or heavy dust.

To date, Juwei's robotic dogs have been deployed across nearly 1,000 specialized industrial scenarios.
