Gasgoo Munich- Gasgoo Embodied Intelligence has learned that SongYing Technology, a physical AI enterprise, recently closed consecutive Series A and A1 financing rounds worth hundreds of millions of yuan. The rounds were led by CICC Capital and Wuhan Hongshan Capital, with participation from Shangrong Capital, Aosheng Technology, Gaoxin Capital, Shanghai Angel Society, Fengyu Zhu, and Joebei Capital. Existing investors, including Zhongxin Fund, doubled down. According to the company, this marks the third funding round completed in just six months. The new capital will primarily drive the iteration of its ORCA OS physical AI operating system, adaptation for domestic chips, developer ecosystem construction, and large-scale deployment in industrial scenarios.
As the fervor around embodied intelligence continues to build, capital focus is gradually shifting from robot hardware and basic models to infrastructure like simulation training, data generation, and development toolchains. NVIDIA, leveraging its GPU and Omniverse software-hardware ecosystem, has erected formidable barriers in the physical AI sector. For domestic manufacturers, the ability to forge independent software toolchains compatible with local computing power is becoming a critical imperative for supply chain autonomy.

Founded in 2021, SongYing Technology entered the market through physical simulation. Its ORCA OS aims to integrate spatial scene construction, multi-physics simulation, data synthesis, algorithm development, parallel training, SIL/HIL verification, and Sim2Real deployment into a unified R&D workflow. Public information shows that ORCA currently supports international GPUs like NVIDIA, while also covering domestic chips from Moore Threads, Maxio, Iluvatar CoreX, MetaX, and Lisuan Technology. In March 2026, ORCA also completed deep adaptation with UOS.
Beyond simply emphasizing "domestic substitution," SongYing Technology faces the more pressing challenge of commercialization in its next phase. The company has already extended its reach into real-world industries such as manufacturing and energy, partnering with institutions like the National Robotics Testing and Assessment Center and the National Supercomputing Center in Wuxi. Reports indicate that ORCA has gone live at the National Embodied Intelligence Application Pilot Base (Hangzhou), and SongYing Technology is collaborating with Siemens on physical simulation, industrial digital twins, and embodied intelligence.

The developer ecosystem is also a crucial step in securing entry points. This year, SongYing Technology launched ORCA Lab for individuals and lightweight teams, enabling robot training and development on standard laptops. The Science and Technology Daily previously reported that this product is the first native physical AI developer platform in China designed for individual and lightweight teams. SongYing Technology's website shows that ORCA Lab is undergoing continuous version updates.
However, basic software for physical AI remains in the early stages of industry development. Whether the "operating system" concept can truly take hold depends not on the breadth of product features, but on the scale of the developer community, hardware-software compatibility, repeat purchases from industrial clients, and deployment efficiency in real-world scenarios. For SongYing Technology, having secured funding three times in six months, investors have already placed their bets. The next, more critical task is proving that a domestic physical AI foundation is not only functional but can also form a sustainable commercial loop outside the ecosystems of tech giants.
