Gasgoo Munich- Surventis, formerly BASF's coatings division, has signed a strategic development and cooperation agreement with AUMOVIO Group. The partners aim to pool resources and advance the use of Surventis's Chemetall micro-structured optical films in vehicles, targeting innovative solutions for in-vehicle displays and head-up displays (HUD) for a global clientele.

Surventis brings unique expertise to the design and manufacturing of micro-structured optical films, blending deep knowledge of materials science and optics with industry-leading nanoimprint technology. By leveraging scalable roll-to-roll nanoimprint processes, the company can replicate complex optical micro- and nano-structures on large substrates with high precision. This capability allows for the production of next-generation optical films that offer significantly improved performance, functionality, and design freedom—key components for forward-looking UX systems.
AUMOVIO, meanwhile, demonstrates strong capabilities in developing high-end in-vehicle displays and HUD solutions. Backed by deep experience in automotive system integration, the company can seamlessly integrate Surventis's technology into cockpit environments that meet industry standards and OEM requirements, ensuring both feasibility and reliability.
The partners have already mapped out specific development steps and preliminary industrialization milestones, providing a clear roadmap for implementation.
