Volkswagen AG is set to sell more cars in China than in its home market of Germany in 2008, making China VW's biggest national market, the finance chief of the group's Chinese subsidiary Joerg Mull told Automotive News Europe.
VW is on track to sell 1.05 million vehicles in China in 2008, he said.
Volkswagen last month said the company's sales in China rose 23.3 percent year-on-year to 531,612 units in the first half of this year.
