2011 Chevy-Epica hits China market, starting at $16,300

Shanghai November 23 (Gasgoo.com) A total of eight models of the 2011 Chevrolet Epica, priced between 108,800 yuan and 161,900 yuan ($16,300-$24,400), hit the Chinese market Monday, bitauto.com reported Tuesday.

The 2011 Chevrolet Epica carries a 1.8L Ecotec DVVT engine, which delivers maximum power of 105kW and peak torque of 177Nm, is mated to a 5-speed or a 6-speed automated mechanical transmission (AMT) and consumes only 6.3 liters of fuel per 100km.

With a generous wheelbase of 2700mm, the new Chevrolet Epica has good front legroom at 1071mm and rear legroom at 1807mm. Apart from the fur seat covers as well as all the comfort and safety features inherited from the existing models, the 2011 Chevrolet Epica is equipped with an additional cruise control system and a smart folding key system to further enhance its ride comfort.

In addition, the new Chevrolet Epica has earned a 5-star safety rating by C-NCA, and adopted 15 technology configurations providing full upgrade to the car's appearance, space, power system and configuration.
