The test route spanned national highways, tunnels, city centers, and suburbs. The rear-wheel-drive test car carried four adults plus roughly 50 kg of equipment. Outside temperatures fluctuated between 13 and 20°C, while the climate control stayed at 24°C on auto. Mimicking a loaded, air-conditioned daily commute, the i6 averaged 11.8 kWh/100 km — finishing the full loop with zero top-ups.
Under the skin, the 2026 i6 rides on an all-aluminum suspension with dual-chamber air springs and continuously variable dampers. Four high-performance hydraulic bushings are fitted across the chassis, and torsional rigidity hits 52,014 N·m/°. Dynamic behavior has also been sharpened: steering calibration was upgraded for quicker response, while brake pedal damping and assist were retuned to deliver a more linear, progressive feel.
Li Auto began routing display vehicles to showrooms on October 11 and has front-loaded production to build near-inventory stock. Once national deliveries launch on October 29, buyers can place orders and lock in configurations through official channels.
