Gasgoo Munich- XPENG launched the 2026 MONA M03 on April 2, offering six variants priced between 119,800 and 151,800 yuan. The entry-level price remains unchanged from the previous model. While Plus and Max trims are available for immediate delivery, the Ultra SE version is slated for August.

Official data show the 2026 MONA M03 secured 10,000 firm orders within 37 minutes of its debut.
The MONA M03 has led the 100,000–200,000 yuan pure electric sedan segment for 18 consecutive months. This refresh comes 583 days after the previous generation's release. With systematic upgrades across intelligent driving, cockpit interaction, energy management, and chassis hardware, the new model continues to target the 100,000–200,000 yuan market.
Dual Computing Power Strategy
Regarding intelligent driving, the 2026 MONA M03 distinguishes between the Max and Ultra SE trims, differentiating their computing power and algorithm paths for the first time.

The Ultra SE trim features dual Turing AI chips delivering 1,500 TOPS of effective computing power and runs XPENG's second-generation VLA physical world model, developed for L4 architecture. Supporting full-scenario autonomous driving, the company describes the experience as "smooth and capable in all scenarios."
The Max trim carries a single Turing AI chip with 750 TOPS of effective computing power and currently uses the first-generation VLA. XPENG plans to release a distilled version of the second-generation VLA via an OTA update in the third quarter of 2026, retaining core capabilities while optimizing for operational efficiency.
Functionally, the entire lineup covers five high-frequency features: full-scenario NGP, human-machine co-driving, intelligent parking, door-to-door capability, and reverse tracking. Additionally, the Max trim introduces AES emergency steering avoidance for icy and snowy conditions.
On the cockpit front, the new model runs the Dimensity AIOS 6.0 system with a "Light Control" UI design and a standard 15.6-inch 2.5K resolution screen. It supports nationwide 3D lane-level navigation, including over-the-horizon risk warnings. The application ecosystem integrates over 40 mainstream entertainment apps and Tencent cloud gaming.
Chassis and Efficiency Upgrades
The 2026 MONA M03 introduces several significant adjustments to driving dynamics and energy efficiency:
The chassis gains adaptive damping shock absorbers that adjust firmness based on road conditions and driving dynamics. Official figures show a minimum turning radius of 5.3 meters and a braking distance of 35.63 meters from 100 km/h.
For power and range, the vehicle features XPENG's self-developed hybrid silicon carbide flat-wire motor system. Although battery capacity remains unchanged, CLTC range has improved by 20–30 km. The top-range version offers 640 km (CLTC), with minimum energy consumption as low as 10.8 kWh per 100 km.
Comfort features include front seats upgraded with 14-point massage, double-layer acoustic glass for front doors, and an RNC active noise cancellation module. The audio system boasts a 20-speaker, 7.1.4-channel layout with over 1,000 W of total power, while the driver's headrest supports independent navigation and call broadcasting.

Externally, two new paint options—Roland Purple and Avocado Green—join the lineup, with a clear coat thickness 20% above the industry average and an 8% boost in gloss. The interior features extensive soft-touch materials, with suede-like finishes on the roof and phone tray. All trims come standard with a double-layer silver-plated panoramic sunroof, blocking 99.97% of UV rays and 97.6% of infrared radiation.
Overall, the strategy behind the 2026 XPENG MONA M03 refresh is pragmatic. By maintaining the original price bracket while stratifying its intelligent driving offerings (Max versus Ultra SE), upgrading chassis hardware (adaptive dampers), optimizing efficiency (silicon carbide motor and thermal management), and enhancing cabin quality, XPENG aims to strengthen its position in the 100,000–200,000 yuan pure electric sedan market. The Ultra SE trim's high-computing architecture and second-generation VLA integration are pivotal in differentiating the model technically from rivals in the same price range.
