Gasgoo.com (Shanghai November 10) - Chery's global sales in October amounted to 56,732 vehicles, Gasgoo.com (Chinese) reported today. Export sales accounted for 13,115 of that number, far more than other Chinese manufacturer managed.
Due to the week-long national holiday, the domestic passenger car market as a whole slumped, falling both in month-to-month and year-to-year figures. Chery was able to take advantage of the situation, with sales rankings for its E5, Tiggo, Cowin2 (pictured), A3 and Riich G5 all increasing. According to statistics, Chery's sales from the start of the year have already exceeded 30 billion yuan ($4.74m), 23.48 percent higher than last year.
