Gasgoo Munich-ACE Robotics has formed a strategic partnership with China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) Shanghai Sales Company, launching the first fully closed-loop embodied intelligence robot pilot in a gas station convenience store. The collaboration's debut location—a Kunlun Good Guest convenience store at the PetroChina Zhenxing station—has entered trial operation.

Operationally, ACE Robotics centers on the "Kaiwu World Model" and employs a self-developed wheel-arm lifting fulfillment robot as its execution terminal. Through the "Xiaoman" solution, it integrates into the PetroChina business system, enabling the robot to autonomously execute tasks such as product recognition, picking, restocking, shelving, packing, placement, and order fulfillment.
Once a consumer places an order via Meituan, the request flows through PetroChina's digital platform into the operational system. Drawing on order and inventory data, the ACE Robotics navigates aisles as narrow as 75 cm and shelves up to 2 meters high to handle picking, transport, and packing—all while updating order status in real time. For in-store scenarios, the robot also assists with product retrieval and fulfillment preparation.
The partners plan to run both online and in-store scenarios to validate the solution's stability under complex conditions—such as multi-SKU environments, high-density narrow warehouses, and peak order periods—with the goal of improving service efficiency during night and peak hours. Simultaneously, real-world operational data will be used to refine the Kaiwu World Model and the ACE Robotics's hardware capabilities, aiming to build a modular solution capable of rapid deployment.
