Amid a fresh round of intelligent competition, automakers are increasingly demanding edge-side AI capabilities. As large models integrate into smart cockpits and vehicle intelligence systems, the limitations of traditional cloud-dependent routes—regarding real-time response, system stability, and data security—are becoming stark. Edge-side AI, characterized by low latency, high reliability, and controllable data, has emerged as a vital industry direction. Meanwhile, balancing computing power, vehicle costs, and platform stability remains a core engineering challenge for OEMs.
The ADAYO AIBOX is a pre-installed, high-performance AI computing platform developed to meet this shift. Adopting a standalone "box" form factor, it delivers robust AI computing power to the vehicle while efficiently collaborating with cockpit domain controllers and the overall system. This provides a stable, scalable foundation for deploying edge-side large models. The product boasts high AI compute, supporting the deployment of 7-billion-parameter models on the device, along with multi-model parallel processing and real-time response capabilities.
Architecturally, automotive electronic and electrical (E/E) systems are accelerating from multi-domain control toward central computing. However, centralizing high computing power faces constraints ranging from chip maturity and power consumption to cost. In this transitional phase, pairing medium-power cockpit platforms with a high-performance AIBOX is widely seen as a viable route for rapidly mass-producing vehicle-based large models. The designation won by ADAYO AIBOX validates the engineering feasibility and application value of this technical path.
Leveraging years of large-scale delivery experience in automotive electronics, ADAYO has built a mature system spanning software-hardware co-development, supply chain assurance, and full lifecycle cost control. Currently, the ADAYO AIBOX project is in the engineering development and production preparation phase, with all tasks proceeding in an orderly manner.
