Gasgoo Munich- On July 6, Aishida's humanoid robotics subsidiary and Zhiyuan officially inked a strategic partnership agreement. The deal outlines deep collaboration across five key areas: procurement and delivery, contract manufacturing of embodied intelligence robots, supply chain integration, technical support and scenario enablement, and equity investment or joint venture formation.
Specifically, Aishida will execute framework procurements of embodied robots and supporting services from Zhiyuan in batches. It will also handle orders for quadruped robots from Zhiyuan's subsidiary, Shenzhen Zhiyuan Kutuo Technology, taking charge of assembly for a range of platform products.
Spanning critical stages in robot commercialization, this partnership is viewed as a landmark achievement in industrial integration for the inaugural year of the 2026 deployment era.
Looking ahead, Aishida plans to deepen its scenario-driven strategy. By leveraging three major real-world deployment scenarios to perfect the industrial loop, the company aims to accelerate the commercial rollout of humanoid robots and support the high-quality, large-scale development of China's trillion-yuan embodied intelligence sector.
In reality, robotics is not a sudden new narrative for Aishida; it represents a transformation that has been unfolding for a decade.
Back in 2016, Aishida acquired a 51% stake in Qianjiang Robotics for 58.65 million yuan, marking its official entry into the industrial robotics arena. The company subsequently increased its holdings, reaching a 97% ownership stake after acquiring the remaining 7% in 2025. Over time, Aishida built a proprietary manufacturing system covering critical components like RV reducers and servo controllers, along with complete machine assembly. It also established two smart manufacturing bases in Taizhou and Shanghai, with products now widely used in industrial scenarios such as welding, new energy, and 3C manufacturing.
In 2024, Aishida further expanded its footprint by establishing Zhejiang Aishida Humanoid Robot Co., Ltd., extending its reach into humanoid robots, quadrupeds, and home service robots. This move created a dual-track layout spanning both industrial and humanoid robotics. By 2026, the company's investment in the robotics sector will have spanned a full decade.

Industry insiders suggest the ultimate application scenario for humanoid robots lies within the home. Following the announcement of the partnership, Aishida's shares surged to the daily limit-up, closing 9.99% higher.
