According to a promotional video posted on Dec. 27 by Seres Group Vice President Kang Bo, cumulative deliveries of the AITO M9 have topped 260,000 units since launch — a new record for vehicles in the RMB 500,000 class. The model has held the top spot in its price band for 20 months.
The AITO M9 has also been recognized in multiple industry rankings. Data show it ranked first in user net recommendation scores across all new-energy vehicles for two consecutive rounds, and led China's plug-in hybrid segment (including range-extended models) in residual value for four straight months. Among domestically built range-extended hybrid SUVs, it also ranks first by residual value.
On March 20, 2025, the 2025 AITO M9 went on sale with a starting price of RMB 469,800. The exterior continues the family design and features Huawei's dual 1-megapixel smart projection headlights. Dimensions are 5,230 mm, 1,999 mm and 1,800 mm (L/W/H), with a 3,110 mm wheelbase.
Inside, the 2025 AITO M9 adds a MagLink Mini rear control screen that attaches and detaches magnetically, and a smart laser projection big-screen system 2.0 with a 32-inch in-car projection screen and an "in-car floating window" feature. Four lidar sensors further sharpen perception, while Huawei's ADS 3.3 supports parking space-to-parking space intelligent driving.
Two powertrains are available: a range-extended version with a new generator, and a pure-electric setup with front and rear dual motors rated at 160 kW and 230 kW, respectively. Driving range is up to 630 km.
