Ukrainian Journal Staff cited Mr Oleh Papashev VP of UkrAvto Vice as saying that UkrAvto Ukrainian Car Corporation has received a permit from China's Chery Automobile Co to distribute Chery cars in Georgia, Belarus and Moldova.
He said that a decision to open representative offices in these countries was made.
Ms Iryna Mikhaleva head of the marketing communications department at the corporation told Interfax Ukraine that Sonata Alliance Georgia Ltd is UkrAvto's partner in Georgia for the creation of the corporation's representative office.
