Gasgoo Munich- NIO delivered 17,646 units of its all-new ES8 in January 2026. Cumulative deliveries have surpassed 60,000 just 134 days after sales began.

The all-new ES8 has gained rapid momentum since launch. Cumulative deliveries topped 20,000 units by November 29, 2025—just 70 days in. The count surged past 30,000 on December 18 (day 89), hit 40,000 by December 29 (day 100), and crossed 50,000 on January 18, 2026 (day 120). In December 2025 alone, the new ES8 moved 22,258 units at retail, securing the top spot in the large SUV segment.
The all-new NIO ES8 officially hit the market on September 20, 2025. Buyers can choose between outright purchase and the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) leasing model. Outright purchase prices range from 406,800 yuan to 446,800 yuan, while the BaaS option starts at 298,800 yuan.
As NIO's flagship SUV, the all-new ES8 features significant upgrades focused on technology and luxury. The interior boasts a Skyline display, a floating central control screen, and an upgraded NOMI AI system. The central screen has shifted from the previous vertical layout to a horizontal orientation, paired with a three-spoke steering wheel. Crucially, the vehicle retains 111 physical buttons throughout the cabin, balancing digital innovation with practical usability.
Built on a full-domain 900V high-voltage architecture, the ES8 is powered by dual motors producing a combined peak output of 520 kilowatts and 700 Newton-meters of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.97 seconds. A standard 102 kilowatt-hour 4C fast-charging battery provides a CLTC range of 635 kilometers, with energy consumption rated at 16.6 kWh per 100 km. NIO also plans to release a proprietary 120 kWh battery supporting 5C charging technology in the future.
