American Axle & Manufacturing, Inc. announced that the company signed a new contract with Chery Automobile Company Limited for RDM production (rear drive module) for a 2009 hybrid vehicle model.

"American Axle Manufacturing Company co-founder, Chairman and CEO Richard E. Dauch said.
"The Market is transferring to all-wheel drive passenger cars and hybrid automobiles market, and strengthened our competitiveness for the global market development and high-tech powertrain products and systems." he added.
