Working closely with DOMO's European R&D team, the center will leverage the Haiyan facility's localized capacity and mature supply chain to accelerate the shift from technology development to mass production. The goal is to sharpen responsiveness to Asian client needs, with a focus on high-growth sectors such as new energy vehicles, renewable energy, energy storage, and smart living.
Marking a significant step in DOMO's deepening footprint in China, the new center will prioritize the development of the TECHNYL® brand. Backed by over 70 years of polyamide expertise, the brand covers a range of engineering polymers—including PA6 and PA66—alongside various compounds and copolymer solutions. With superior thermal management and hydrolysis resistance, these materials are widely used in advanced industrial sectors such as connectors, photovoltaics, low-altitude drones, and robotics.
The Haiyan facility already holds IATF 16949 and GMP certifications, with nearly 30 localized materials achieving UL Yellow Card certification. Additionally, an on-site photovoltaic plant has generated over 3.27 million kilowatt-hours, covering more than 30% of the factory's electricity needs—setting a high bar for product compliance and sustainable manufacturing. Ron Bult, Managing Director of DOMO Asia, noted that China is a core pillar of DOMO's global strategy. This investment underscores long-term confidence in the Chinese and Asian markets, while further strengthening the company's global innovation network.
