ARCFOX is actively expanding its charging network through partnerships. For instance, in 2025, the automaker teamed up with NIO Power for charging interoperability. NIO Power's network is now open to ARCFOX users, offering extensive coverage and efficient access. Under the agreement, ARCFOX drivers can locate and use NIO Power chargers nationwide via the ARCFOX App and the Charging Bar mini-program.
Meanwhile, ARCFOX revealed that a battery-swapping version of its upcoming large pure electric sedan is set to debut soon. This model will serve as a cornerstone for the brand's push into the battery-swapping sector.
Images released by the company suggest the new vehicle is the battery-swapping variant of the ARCFOX αS5. For context, pre-sales for the model began on the 1st of this month, with an official guide price starting at 117,800 yuan and a subsidized price starting at 112,800 yuan.
Visually, the car adheres to a "Wind Sculpture" aesthetic. Beyond the known Phantom Green finish, it will offer a range of exterior colors. Key design cues include an exposed active intake grille, a "Deep Space Star Dome" fastback silhouette, a two-tone floating roof, frameless doors, and hidden handles. It also features unique daytime running lights, bright brake calipers, and a rear wing with 3,430 square centimeters of surface area.
On the ADAS front, ARCFOX has adopted an integrated cabin and driving solution from Zhuoyu. The infotainment system runs on a Qualcomm 8775 chip, while the driver assistance system uses inertial navigation and binocular stereo vision. It features a signature blue indicator light and supports Navigation on Autopilot (NOA) for both urban and highway driving.
Powertrain-wise, the αS5 will retain its existing pure electric options while adding a range-extended variant. The EREV version features a 1.5-liter range extender with a maximum output of 77 kilowatts, paired with a drive motor delivering up to 200 kilowatts. It is equipped with a 27.4 kilowatt-hour battery pack, providing a battery-powered range of 175 kilometers.
