Audi China July sales grow 27% year-on-year

On Aug.7, Audi AG announced that its July global sales totaled 131,000 vehicles, rising near 10% year-on-year and its China market sales were 42,000 vehicles, rising 27% year-on-year. From this Jan. to July, Audi sales in China market were 269,900 units, increasing by 19% compared with 226,700 units of the same period of last year.

The journalist learned that Audi China sales growth is mainly promoted by the locally-produced auto models, such as Audi Q3 and Audi Q5. Besides of the above two SUV models, Audi A4L July sales in China rose 20.9% year-on-year and Audi A6L sales in China rose 21.5% year-on-year.
