Volkswagen AG's premium division Audi AG said Thursday its July vehicle sales rose 2.1% on the year to around 85,000 units.
Audi's rising July sales were mainly driven by a further increase in Chinese sales, which rose by 42.5% year-on-year to 13,399. Sales in Germany were up by 0.3% at 23,404 vehicles.
From January to July, Audi's vehicle sales reached around 551,000, or 8.1% less than in the same period of the previous year.
