Domestic part and sub-unit suppliers are concentrated in the heavily industrialized lower Dnipro-Donbas region. Mechanical parts are Western Ukraine is represented by Avto-Zapchast in Zhytomyr, Berdychiv Motor Repair Works, Boryslav Motor Repair Works in L'viv oblast, Kamianets-Podilsk Avto-Agregat, L'vivAvtoZapchast, Plastik in Lviv, and Volochysk Engineering Works in Khmelnytskiy oblast. The only branches of the industry in the central region are Mironivskiy AvtoAgregatniy Zavod in Kyiv oblast, MotorDetal in Konotop, 1st Kyiv Motor Repair Works, ChernihivAvloDetal, and MotorServis in Poltava. Crimea is represented by Bazalt in Kerch and the east by VerstatoTekhMash in Sumy.
According to industrial estimates, 11 to 12 % (or USD 25 million) of the market belongs to locally manufactured automotive spare parts.
