Gasgoo Munich- BAIC BluePark (600733.SH) disclosed on June 1 that its new energy vehicle arm, BAIC BJEV, sold 21,871 units in May — a 27.75% jump from a year ago. For the first five months, sales climbed 24.39% to 68,613 units. Notably, production surged 56.20% to 20,982 vehicles, significantly outpacing sales growth and signaling a recovering supply chain alongside a healthy order backlog.

By brand, ARCFOX remained the sales anchor, moving 17,943 units in May, a 32.82% annual increase. Driven by models like the Alpha S5 and Koala in the 150,000 to 200,000 yuan mainstream segment, ARCFOX is seeing steady gains in turnover efficiency and brand recognition. Meanwhile, Stelato, the result of a deep partnership with Huawei, emerged as the standout performer. Sales hit 3,418 units, surging 45.32% from April. That explosive growth comes after the Stelato Super Factory completed a nearly 2 billion yuan technical upgrade, shattering production bottlenecks and significantly boosting delivery capacity.
More critically, data from HIMA shows that the "twin stars" — the Stelato S9 and S9T — have surpassed 60,000 cumulative deliveries. The duo has held the title of best-selling new-energy sedan above 300,000 yuan for seven straight months since last October. With an average transaction price holding steady around 350,000 yuan, the brand is closing in on the first-tier luxury camp, even when pitted against traditional internal combustion engine rivals.
With ARCFOX securing the volume base and Stelato lifting average selling prices and brand premiums, BAIC BluePark is shifting its focus from sheer scale expansion to profitability and cash flow. Powered by both capacity release and technological enablement, the company's financial performance and market standing in the second half of the year will serve as the ultimate test of this high-end breakout strategy.
