BAIC BJEV reports June sales of 30,282 units, up 152.54%

Gasgoo Munich- BAIC BJEV announced on July 1 that June sales climbed to 30,282 units, surging 152.54% year-on-year. In the second quarter, the company sold 69,811 vehicles, a 140.03% increase over the previous quarter, maintaining a rapid growth trajectory.

For the first half of the year, BAIC BJEV sold a total of 101,599 vehicles.

Despite a wider industry slump, BAIC BJEV is maintaining strong growth momentum.

Specifically, the Arcfox brand achieved significant growth, delivering 80,581 units in the first half, up 65.88% year-on-year.

Regarding products, Arcfox has established a lineup comprising three series: Wendao, α, and β. Four new models were launched in succession: the α S5, β S3, Wendao V9, and β T1. The β S3 targets the battery-swapping sedan segment, while the β T1 enters the entry-level family pure electric SUV market. The Wendao V9 focuses on high-end family and business transportation. Together, the three series cover needs ranging from flagship models to entry-level commuting. In the second half, Arcfox will launch the mid-to-large SUV α T7.

The Stelato brand has established its position among leading luxury automakers. First-half deliveries rose 119.58% year-on-year. The brand ranked as the top-selling new energy sedan priced above 300,000 yuan for eight consecutive months, further consolidating its position in the luxury market.

Notably, in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's latest batch of new product announcements, the rear badging on the Stelato S9 and Stelato S9T has changed from "BAIC BJEV" to "BAIC Group." Peng Lei, Huawei's Smart Selection Vehicle product director, stated that starting with the Stelato G9, the automaker's name on the rear will be uniformly changed to "BAIC Group," underscoring BAIC's full commitment to the Stelato brand.

In the second half, the technology-focused luxury off-road SUV Stelato G9 is confirmed for a Q3 launch, entering the 500,000 yuan flagship SUV segment. Combined with the launch of a luxury MPV later this year, the Stelato brand is expected to maintain rapid growth.

With Arcfox sustaining high growth and Stelato leading the segment, BAIC BJEV's dual-brand strategy is entering a phase of significant returns. As multiple core new models launch in the second half, the company's full-year growth trajectory is expected to reach new levels.
