BeingBeyond and Linkerbot Establish Strategic Partnership

Gasgoo Munich- On July 13, 2026, sources said  that BeingBeyond, an embodied general foundation model developer, signed a strategic partnership with Linkerbot, a global leader in dexterous robotics. The deal comes just ahead of the opening of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC).

The two plan to fuse foundational models with dexterous hardware, launching long-term collaboration on dataset construction, pre-training development, and scenario deployment. Together, they aim to scale up embodied intelligence solutions for complex manipulation tasks.

The partnership marks a deep coupling of "brain" and "fingers."

BeingBeyond specializes in embodied general foundation models using an implicit world action model paradigm. It has launched the Being-H large model for dexterous manipulation and the Being-M for mobile operations—both capable of real-time edge deployment. The company has built a full-stack closed loop spanning modeling, control, manipulation, and hardware adaptation.

Linkerbot leads the global dexterous hand sector. It is the only company covering all three mainstream technical paths—tendon, linkage, and direct drive. With monthly output exceeding 4,000 units, it holds over 80% of the global market for high-degree-of-freedom dexterous hands. Its portfolio includes the Linker Hand series, the Open TeleDex teleoperation system, and the LinkerSkillNet library. The company also recently unveiled the Linker Genesis model, filling the "last centimeter" hardware gap needed for embodied intelligence deployment.

Early joint R&D has already yielded results, achieving strong resonance in technical adaptation and ecosystem integration. At the upcoming WAIC 2026, opening July 17, the partners will showcase the D1—a desktop robotic arm equipped with a dexterous hand—at booth H3-B122 in the World Expo Exhibition Hall. Integrating a robotic arm, dexterous hand, and active vision system, the D1 covers the entire chain from data collection to deployment. Designed as an accessible, integrated platform for research and education, it offers ready-to-use functionality, demonstrating the synergy achieved by fusing model with hardware.

As the embodied intelligence race intensifies, dexterous hands are emerging as a critical high-value growth area. Deep integration of "model plus dexterous hand" is now seen as the core path to breaking through industrialization bottlenecks.
