Gasgoo.com (Shanghai July 6) - Wu Yanyan has assumed the role of BMW China's director of enterprise public relations and government affairs at the beginning of this month, Gasgoo.com (Chinese) reported.
Wu Yanyan (pictured) joined BMW China in 2005, with her work dealing closely with government affairs.
BMW has also recently agreed with the Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee to supply police cars for the event. Analysts within the industry believe that these moves represent BMW's desire to further develop its cooperation with the government.
Sources from Brilliance BMW, the manufacturer's joint venture in China, have also announced their desire to create a similar position.
