BMW, the world's largest premium carmaker, saw group sales volumes decline about 13 percent to 109,923 vehicles in July even as the Mini brand returned to growth for the first time since September 2008.
The company said on Friday that sales of BMW brand vehicles fell 15 percent to 90,597 vehicles, while Mini brand sales edged up 0.3 percent to 19,281 cars. In the first seven months, group volumes fell nearly 19 percent to 725,377 vehicles.
